The Trinidad and Tobago Transparency Institute (TTTI) in collaboration with the Commonwealth Foundation (CF) recently developed a toolkit for Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in Trinidad and Tobago to help strengthen and improve their accountability systems. TTTI is hosting a workshop for all Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) interested in using this toolkit to bring their organizations in line with international best practices. As such, we would like to invite representatives from your organization to attend the second workshop which will be held in Tobago. The main purpose of this workshop is to introduce the toolkit as a guide for CSOs. Workshop participants should meet the following criteria:
- Be in leadership in the CSO
- Be in a position to implement/be accountable for the toolkit principles and practices in the CSO or
be directly involved in the implementation process (A Board member, Executive Director,
Manager, Programme Officer) - Be one of the decision-makers in the CSO
At the end of this workshop, the participating organizations must be willing to commit at least two (2) days in one-on-one post-workshop consultations.
The workshop will be held on Saturday 2nd June 2012 from 9AM – 4PM at the Pacific Point Room, Paria Suites Hotel and Conference Centre, South Trunk Road, La Romain.
