A True Champion for Integrity
The sudden and untimely passing of Richard Joseph is a major shock to all of us. Naturally our first thoughts are for his wife, Christine, and his children. We at TTTI certainly share their grief.
To say that he will be missed is an understatement. The many tributes that have poured in bear testimony to the high esteem in which his work and his engaging personality were held throughout the Transparency International movement. This national chapter is immensely proud of his contribution.
In his personal life, Richard upheld the highest standards of integrity and he brought that zeal and enthusiasm to his work at TTTI. He was totally dedicated and committed to the vision and goals of the organization and never shirked the responsibilities asked of him. Richard served as an officer of TTTI from 2009, first as Treasurer then as Chair from 2010. After stepping down as Chair in May 2012, he continued to be a Director to the time of his death.
We at TTTI recommit to the fight against corruption in Trinidad & Tobago and, in extending condolences, we thank his family for lending him to us as part of our continuing struggle in the service of our country.
