Trinidad and Tobago Transparency Institute (TTTI), the national chapter of Transparency International, is a non-political and not-for profit organisation that works for “a world in which government, politics, business, civil society and the daily lives of people are free of corruption”. In seeking to fulfil its mandate through advocacy and public education, TTTI has embarked on a series of town hall meetings in various communities throughout Trinidad and Tobago.
The next Town Hall Meeting is going to be held at the Couva/Point Lisas Chamber, Camden Road, Couva on Tuesday 21 November, 2017 at 6 p.m. TTTI would like to invite you to participate in the event and to share the invitation within their networks in order to get the information to as many members of the Community as possible.
Winston Rudder, Chairman of the Agricultural Development Bank will give a key note address and representatives of several partnering CSOs will present on different matters related to
Town Hall Meeting – Invitation corruption. The focus will be on the question how corruption affects individual lives and communities. The attendees are then invited to air their views and concerns in the question and answer segment that follows the panel discussion. The goal is to engage citizens in a debate about matters related to corruption. Light refreshments are served at the end of the meeting.
