About the Conference

Trinidad and Tobago Transparency Institute (TTTI), the national chapter of Transparency International, works for “a world in which government, politics, business, civil society and the daily lives of people are free of corruption”. TTTI seeks to fulfil its mandate through advocacy and public education on matters of corruption and 2019 marks TTTI’s 21st anniversary in leading the fight against corruption in Trinidad and Tobago.

TTTI will be hosting its annual Anti-Corruption Conference (ACC) entitled ‘Crackdown on Corruption – Facing the Reality’ on Thursday, March 21, 2019, at the Hilton Trinidad and Conference Centre.

The conference is a major forum which focuses on topical issues of corruption and how to bring about change. This year’s conference will draw significant attention, as Ministers, Transparency International representatives, international experts as well as prominent local presenters will take part.

TTTI will also be launching the Business Integrity Country Agenda (BICA) Report, an initiative developed by Transparency International (TI) with a view to reducing corruption in the business environment. The report identifies the contributions and shortcomings of the business sector, public institutions and civil society which are the key players in reducing corruption.

We hope to see you there!
