Transparency hosted a town hall meeting in Sangre Grande on Tuesday 29 September 6pm. President of the Joint Consultative Council for the Construction Industry (JCC), Afra Raymond called for the present government to immediately publicise all financial statements relating to the CL Financial bailout.
Plenty Pepper also featured a spoken word youth speaker Derron Sandy whose piece entitled ‘You see right through me” was both energetic and informative. Derron explained in his presentation that corruption does not only occur in business or government but it starts in the home. He called on parents to train/instill ethics, integrity and morality in their children.
The final Plenty Pepper forum for 2015 is scheduled for Moruga in November.
