Ravi Suryadevara is the Chief Executive Officer (C.E.O.) and Co-Owner of the Trinidad Valve & Fitting Company Limited (TRINVALCO) in Trinidad and Tobago. Ravi had worked in various executive positions within the organization prior to his acquisition of the company in 2006, with his last being that of Chief Operations Officer (C.O.O).

Trinidad Valve & Fitting Company Limited (TRINVALCO) is one of the region’s most competitive process control equipment and automation energy-services company whose offices are located in Point Lisas in Trinidad and Tobago. Serving customer needs since 1979, TRINVALCO has been an ever-improving solution provider in upstream, refining, gas transmission, petrochemical, iron and steel, utilities, manufacturing, food and beverage industries.

Ravi holds a BSc. in Nuclear Engineering from Pennsylvania State University and a M.B.A from the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business, The University of The West Indies.

Ravi has served as a Director of the American Chamber of Commerce of Trinidad & Tobago from 2014 t0 2021. He was President for the period 2015-2017, Vice President for the period 2014-2015, and Chair of the Trade and Investment Committee for three years. He has been a member of AMCHAM T&T for over fourteen years. He also represented AMCHAM T&T in:

• The Private Sector/ Civil Society Group (PSCSG) regarding Public Procurement
• The Inter-Ministerial Team on Trade Policy Implementation 2013-2015, Ministry of Trade, Industry, Investment & Communications
• The External Stakeholders Tax Sub-Committee, Ministry of Finance & the Economy, 2014-2015
• The Public Procurement Oversight Committee, Ministry of Finance & the Economy, 2015

Ravi was also a member of the Board of Directors of the American Chambers of Commerce of Latin America and the Caribbean (AACCLA) from 2016 to 2020. AACCLA is a division of the US Chamber of Commerce located in Washington D.C. and is the world’s largest business organization representing the interests of more than 3 million businesses of all sizes, sectors, and regions.

Ravi currently serves on the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Trinidad & Tobago (ICATT) Disciplinary Proceedings and Appeals Panel and serves on the Alumni Board of the Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business as well.
