Deryck Murray – Chair

Deryck Murray is a Consultant, Employee Benefits with Guardian Life of the Caribbean Ltd. He served as a career diplomat in the Foreign Service of Trinidad and Tobago in the period 1978 to 1989. Mr. Murray is also well known as one of the heroes of the halcyon days of West Indies Cricket. He was honoured in 1975 with the Chaconia Gold Medal for his many outstanding achievements and in 1989 he was inducted into the T&T Sports Hall of Fame.

(Mr. Murray has been a member of the TTTI Board for the past two (2) years)

Dion Abdool Vice-Chair

Dion Abdool is an Attorney at Law with over sixteen (16) years experience in the Corporate environment. He is the General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at the Water and Sewerage Authority. Mr. Abdool holds a Masters Degree in Corporate and Commercial Law (Lond.), is a Chartered Secretary, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA), a member of the Canadian Society of Corporate Secretaries (CSCS), a member of the Law Association and other professional bodies.

Mr. Abdool has served as Secretary of the Trinidad and Tobago Transparency Institute for the past two (2) years.

Frederick du Coudray – Director

Frederick Du Coudray is a retired banker with over 40 years experience. He holds a Diploma in Business Management and a Certificate of Graduation in Bank Marketing from the University of Colorado. He has served as a Director on the Board of the Trinidad and Tobago Development Foundation (Fund Aid) a self help non-profit organization for approximately 20 years and as the Chairman for 2 of those years. He also served as Chairman of The Power Generation Company of Trinidad and Tobago (POWERGEN) as well as a Director on the Boards of Infolink Services Limited and Credit Reporting Services Limited (TransUnion).

Since his retirement, he has conducted several short contract assignments as a Financial Consultant and is presently a Board Member and Treasurer of Trinidad and Tobago Transparency Institute (TTTI). In addition he is also the Deputy Chairman of North West Regional Health Authority.

Josh Drayton – Director

Josh O. W. Drayton currently teaches Public Policy at the University of the West Indies (UWI), St. Augustine Campus. He is also a Director at Veni Apwann, a Non-governmental Organization involved in capacity building for Civil Society Organizations. Mr Drayton has published and presented academic papers on anti-corruption and good governance, and trained NGOs in advocacy. During his tenure a Programme Officer at Trinidad and Tobago Transparency Institute, he participated in the design and execution of a number of anti-corruption projects including TTTI and Commonwealth Foundation Civil Society Accountability Toolkit for Trinidad and Tobago. He recently designed a new course at UWI entitled ‘Anti-Corruption Strategies in Developing Countries’ which will be included as a core course in the B.Sc. Public Sector Management (Special) Degree.

Mr Drayton holds a BSc in Government and International Relations, a Professional Certificate in International Trade Policy, and an MSc in Government. He also recently completed a Post-Graduate Certificate in University Teaching and Learning (CUTL) from UWI.

Richard Joseph – Director

Richard Joseph is a Chartered Accountant with over 35 years of experience in the private sector. He has served TTTI as Treasurer, and more recently as Chair. He has been involved in several of the recent initiatives of TTTI including the capacity building project, the Business Ethics project and the Civil Society Organisation Accountability Toolkit. He has been the spokesperson for TTTI for the last two years.

Mr. Joseph was educated at the University of the West Indies and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

Ronald Ramcharan – Director

Ronald Ramcharan has worked in the field of developing Application Systems and Software Development since 1968. He subsequently started a consulting company in 1974 and now works as an independent Consultant in this area.

Mr Ramcharan also facilitates workshops in Conflict Management/Resolution in the Private, Public, Social, Church and School environments. He is certified as a mediator by the Mediation Board of Trinidad and Tobago and is a member of the faculty, St. Andrew’s Theological College – Conflict Management/Resolution, Church History.

Prabha Siewrattan – Director

Prabha Siewrattan is the Vice President- Group Compliance Unit of the Guardian Holdings Group of Companies (GHL). Ms. Siewrattan has extensive commercial, auditing and regulatory experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining GHL, Ms. Siewrattan served as an Audit Manager at PriceWaterhouseCoopers and as the Director General of Financial Services, St Kitts and Nevis. She is an Attorney at Law admitted to practice in Trinidad and Tobago and in St. Kitts and Nevis and is also a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
